I'm happy with this update since my site stepped from pagerank 3 to pagerank 4!

A strange update anyway... we've waited for 6 months and now a lot of sites have lost 1-2 or eve 3 pr points!

It's always 'bugged' me how http://www.example.com can get a PR4 but http://example.com a PR0. Why is that? Also, was the PR update really finished today - October 27th - or is it going to continue for another couple of weeks?

Thanks for visiting The Coding Pad (http://codingpad.maryspad.com) and leaving a comment. This is interesting. I try not to pay attention to pagerank too much but it's hard to ignore all the commenting and posts about it online. My blogs are pretty new and rank 0 right now so it will be interesting to see how they do in the next update. I don't do a lot of link building, at least not intentionally, I rely mostly on SERPs for traffic. But it's interesting trying to figure out what Google will be looking at as a criteria for PR, given all the link laundering and link buying schemes.

thanks again for the visit. I'll be keeping an eye on googlebugs!
